Jon Cooper grew up in Wise County, Virginia, and spent his middle school and high school years in Orlando, Florida. He played baseball for UCF and graduated with a business degree. In 2009, he married his high school sweetheart Ashlyn and together they have three children: Lyla, Mason and Georgia. Jon and Ashlyn attended St. Andrews Chapel in Sanford, Florida, before moving to Botetourt to be closer to family.

Jon and his family are grateful that God led them to Wellspring. Jon is passionate about his church, church family, managing and improving wild lands, wildlife and commercial real estate.
