Walter Rosenberger grew up in a Christian home in Raleigh, NC. He went off to a little engineering school in Indiana, where he learned the importance of at least two things: being close to family and maintaining an active worship life. He eventually moved back to NC and got a job or two, got married, and had kids. Walt, Sara, Aaron, Ben, Paul, and Anna moved to the Roanoke area in August 2005 and were soon members of Wellspring. Walt has been a deacon at Wellspring since 2008. He strives to advance the Gospel and serve the Church in practical/tactical ways. He enjoys this the most when he can use his favorite tools – spreadsheets, a MIG welder, or a lathe – to do so.  Walt and family are so grateful they can worship and hear the Gospel of Jesus preached clearly every week.
