Floyd Caldwell grew up in Daleville, VA, graduated from Virgina Tech in 1983 with a degree in Food Science and Technology, and worked for 36 years for Nestle Food Company. He worked in factory and corporate leadership roles primarily focused on food safety and quality. After retirement in 2019, Floyd and his wife Donna returned to Daleville and joined Wellspring in 2021.

Floyd has two children, Ashely and Ben. When he married Donna, in 2011, he gained a third child, David. Floyd loves spending time with his family, including his six grandchildren. He’s an outdoorsman who enjoys bass fishing, especially with his son, Ben, kayaking, and hawk-watching.

Floyd loves worshiping and serving the Lord with his Wellspring church family. As a deacon, he is honored to help maintain the church building and grounds and serve the needs of the church. He also takes great joy in teaching the Middle School on Sunday morning and sharing the good news of Jesus with the dear young adults of the church.
